Anchor protects truck drivers Anchor Vehicle Logistics, which transports high-value cars throughout Europe, has developed a specially designed trailer which resists intrusion and is equipped with alarms and tracking devices. The company spent £120,000 (US$209,000) to develop the trailer. The delivery of high-value cargo is risky enough in Europe that the company legitimately fears the gassing of its drivers by hijackers. |
