COMET launches x-ray tube Switzerland-based COMET, a security systems manufacturer, has announced a new x-ray tube that features a beryllium x-ray window. Beryllium windows accommodate the full spectrum of x-ray wavelengths. This enables the unit to capture x-ray imagery of a wide range of structures and materials at densities as low as 50kV, meaning that users won’t have to acquire separate tubes and equipment for high- and low-voltage applications. |
