AIGIS launches new blast container

AIGIS launched a new blast-containing trash receptacle at the “Building a Secure World” exhibition in London December 5-6. The TC92, like the company’s other products, is manufactured from TABREshield, a patented materials system that the company says can absorb the energy from an explosive blast and reduce potentially lethal overpressure by up to 90 percent. The unit offers all-round horizontal blast and fragment protection and can withstand a detonation anywhere inside the container.

The large-capacity container features a bolt-down mounting, is self-draining, comes in a range of colors and finishes, and can accommodate logos and other signage.
