TransVu protects Florida students AD Group, the parent company of Dedicated Micros Inc., has announced that its ruggedized TransVu mobile digital CCTV recorder is in use on 100 public school buses in Tallahassee, Florida. The recorder enables images and incidents to be automatically downloaded at the school bus depot, eliminating manual archiving. Status reports immediately highlight attempt to tamper with the cameras and helps managers to ensure that the system is fully operational. A further 100 units are planned for installation by North American Video, the program integrator.
