DHS rolls out explosives testing to Sea-Tac
The rolling launch of the US$30 million Air Cargo Explosives Detection Pilot Program has arrived at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (Sea-Tac) after an initial launch at San Francisco International Airport in June. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) program attempts to address the security of air cargo shipments, which remain one of the most troubling potential weak spots in cargo security in the U.S. and around the world.
