Duos protects Union Pacific

Duos Technologies Inc. has announced that it will install a security surveillance and analytics system for a Union Pacific rail tunnel. The turnkey system will be driven by the company’s Praesidium sensor technology suite, a software system that incorporates video analytics and data from a variety of other sensor types into a unified platform. The system uses live video streams to provide automatic, analytical, continuous intruder detection and classification. Through the use of video analytics the system automatically distinguishes between foliage, the elements, animals, train movement and humans within a defined security zone.
